Trees on your photographs

Trees on your photographs

Comely

Entwined in intimacy

Bulged with swaying branches

Reveal all

Naked figures

Flooded

With a stack of your glances

voluptuous

like human shapes

embedded into a vague background

of bewitched paintings

the cosseted

by persistent wind

they whirl imaginatively

the agile

like invisible brushes

– in a shadow streak

they escape onto sky’s canvas

the slender

they persist in trying

to avert the gale

dignified

they loom out

some with dark bark

other with silvery one

the dwarfish

survive on

merciless rocks

the suffering

tangled in torment

knobby, wet, dry

die under the burden of years

the dead

reach heavens

with their gnarled skeletons
