In the permanence of the unforgottable

In the permanence of the unforgottable

You have always been seeing

Her shining hair

Plaited,

Her palm seeking the warmth

of somebody else’s palm,

Her eyes staring confidently

From her face of child’s fear

When violently separated,

Forcefully stripped of her humanity

Was pushed to

Her life’s end.
